How we write our guides

Boss Lab Field Notes is published by Boss Lab XYZ inc., the publisher of Boss Lab. Our goal is to help you understand the game and choose useful experiments for your own collection.

Game rules and build advice

Our initial guide library was checked November 4, 2026 against the game’s current item and combat references, Campaign route and progression documentation. When documents disagree, the specific current system reference takes precedence over older overview or design-history material.

We distinguish mechanical rules from tactical suggestions. A suggested build or timing is something to test, not a guaranteed victory or a claim based on player telemetry. Screenshots show the game build captured for the marketing asset collection; the live interface can change.

Comparisons and publisher disclosure

We make Boss Lab. Our comparisons explain differences in format and player decisions, and link to primary sources such as another game’s official site or store listing. They are not independent reviews, paid competitor rankings or live audits of other games’ balance, population or spending requirements.

Updates and corrections

Each guide displays its review date. When a mechanic changes, we review affected guides and update their dates when the content is revised. Current in-game descriptions and reward previews should guide decisions if a guide’s values differ after an update.
